Francis (Frank) J. Sweeney
Partner Frank Sweeney, who is licensed in and practices in both Texas and Montana, comes to the firm with a wealth of commercial and transactional experience. Over thirty years of practice have given him experience in diverse areas such as antitrust, unfair competition, real estate, copyright, trademark, employment law, wills, trusts and probate. He is able to advise clients on a wide range of personal, business and financial matters, and to assist in a variety of corporate and personal transactions.

Frank received his B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University while on scholarship, and his J.D. from the Bates College of Law at the University of Houston, where as member of the Order of the Barons, he graduate cum laude, in the top 10 percent of his law school class. Frank started his career in a large private practice but has spent the bulk of his legal career practicing within a Fortune 50 multinational corporation, before joining Howie & Sweeney, L.L.P. in 2005.

He recently concluded a term of service as a City Councilmen in Whitefish.
