For years, the lawyers at Howie & Sweeney, L.L.P. have provided clients with both experience and results. This fine tradition continues with the news that as of May 1, 2011, heralded trial lawyer Paula Fisette Sweeney has joined the law firm of Slack & Davis, L.L.P. , enhancing and expanding the firm’s major personal injury and wrongful death litigation practice.

Ms. Sweeney became the last remaining name partner at Howie & Sweeney when John Howie passed away nine years ago. After Howie’s death, Slack & Davis took over Howie & Sweeney’s aviation practice. Sweeney’s recent decision to merge the rest of her firm into Slack & Davis was as thoughtful and logical as the legal strategies she has employed over the past three decades as a prominent voice for the wrongfully injured.

We invite you to contact Ms. Sweeney at the address below to submit a case for evaluation or to learn more about Slack & Davis experience, capabilities and philosophy. Like Howie & Sweeney, the Slack & Davis law firm is very dedicated to clients and passionate about representing people who have suffered because of the actions or negligence of others. Founded in 1993, Slack & Davis represents plaintiffs in litigation that arises from severe injuries and death from air crashes; auto, commercial trucking or tractor-trailer collisions; harmful prescription or over-the-counter drugs; defective products; medical malpractice; construction site accidents and general negligence. The firm has nine attorneys, with offices in Austin and Dallas.

Attorney Francis (Frank) J. Sweeney, who is licensed in both Texas and Montana, will continue his practice – representing clients in areas such as antitrust, unfair competition, real estate, copyright, trademark, employment law, wills, trusts and probate. He is able to advise clients on a wide range of personal, business and financial matters, and to assist in a variety of corporate and personal transactions. He can be reached at the address below.
